Retreats and resources to help a weary soul.

“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Psalm 34:18

Retreats

We provide a safe, faith-based place for women who are living in chaos and have neglected their own needs because they are helping to fight the battles of loved ones dealing with addiction or mental health issues, or they are wrestling with the grief of lost expectations for their children or husbands. Our retreats are designed to offer these women…

REST, HOPE, ENCOURAGEMENT, and CONNECTION

Located in the north Georgia mountains, Woodlands Camp is a gorgeous and welcoming spot to host our Just Be Held retreats. The weekend retreats include large group sessions with dynamic, wise speakers and small group time for processing and applying the truths learned in the sessions. There will also be free time in the afternoon, and at night, we’ll gather by the fire pit.

Resources

We know life goes on after retreat, so we have curated a list of resources and links to our ministry partners. It is our hope and prayer that these ministries, books, and worship songs will help you as you continue your journey of healing.

Is there a book, speaker, ministry, or other resource that helped you understand something important, or that encouraged you on your journey—or both? We’d love to share it with others on our Resources page, so please let us know!

Stories

Nancy Squires, mom of four adult children and grandmother to two, has experienced her share of life's chaos. Her family's struggles with mental health, addiction, abuse, and more had her overwhelmed. As she repeatedly cried out to God, asking why this was happening, she soon found peace, believing that God was going to use her family's struggles to help others and bring glory to God. Nancy's moving stories can bring comfort and hope to others facing similar challenges. Email her today to arrange for her to come speak to your congregation, ladies' group, organization, or community group.

Nancy is also available to share her story of hope on your organization's blog or podcast, so reach out to her today!
